The "Trashed Set" originated in the early days of Sims 2.
DumBblOndE originally posted a set of items fit for the junkyard back in January of 2005. The community quickly caught on, and others began to contribute. Darter1234 made a bedroom set and a carboard toybox, Johnr2000 made a number of wall and floor sets, CynicalChick made several early addons for the set, Crmelsimlover made groundcovers, Berg of Carnbysims made carpet, a drug addict sim and a great bag lady sim, Numenor (the Modfather, no less) made the first broken glass, dead plants, outdoor lights, well the list is never ending, really, Blink13y made carpets, walls, sims, and objects, not to mention full lots with such great detail, Hazbla made walls, floors and videos, VampyBites made paintings and walls, floors and doors, kthompson made several sets, and has never posted anything more... Rgiles created the first trashy roof recolor, but sadly it no longer works. I shall be recreating it, and hopefully several others as well. And last but not least there was Mutant Bunny who made a set of pictures.
The items found here are those by DumBblOndE and myself, with others. The files that I have updated are here, but belong to the original creators and are marked as such.
Because this was pre-university, pre-mesh tool, just about pre-anything we take for granted today the set has fallen into disrepair. Some items flash blue, some don't show at all...
And DumBblOndE doesn't want to see it die. Thus, at the beginning of May, 2007, she offered to let me take over the set. My goal here is not to steal the thunder from the original creators, but to provide a full set that works for downloaders to enjoy in a place where each piece is marked for the EP it is from. Where possible downloads will be left at their original locations, unless I have to rebuild the package.
